From The Garden ...

My hubby grows me roses ... I get over a hundred of them to fill the house with every other day ....I am telling you this because ...... I am a bitch.



Sometimes I like to put velcro on my wrist and forehead and go out and wander the yard with my hand to my forehead (the velcro helps keep it in place) and I like to moan and complain about all the roses I have to put in vases in the house and how hard a life I have ....



That way we get lots of fresh veggies for free ... when the neighbourhood women throw them at me ....

Baby It's Cold Outside!

After years of being raised in the frozen northland and being forced to wear my brothers long johns, my cousins leotards, 6 pairs of pants, hand me down snow pants, 3 jackets, two toques, three scarves, 2 pairs of mittens, 3 pairs of socks and then boots .... and many years of therapy ....cause I have an unnatural fear that I have to go pee and cannot move and I freeze to death and no-one even knows because it is not like any of those Canadian kids placed in their yards are moving anyway .....(big breath here ...)



I am so ready for something warm that is also pretty and sexy .. voila .. JADOR!!! All sweater, all covered except for just a hint at naughty bits ... and hey ... who cares about going outside ....

As a kid I loved taking neopolitan icecream and mixing all the colours in together .... I tried fingerpainting with it once ... on my brothers face ... and that got me a huge can of whoop ass .... something about my brother screaming the way he did as he ran through the house complaining that he couldn't feel his face ....

This outfits is a "Syner" and worthy of your attention. Lots of things are worthy of your attention but I have the biggest microphone so ignore the others and gather around me ... attention Second Life Shoppers ... Great deal in Aisle 9!!!



Is there a school for those people who make the announcements in stores ... cause I think one of the courses they might want to introduce into the new curriculum .. might be ... "moving the mic away from your mouth so that people can understand you 101." OR "how not to give old ladies a heart attack when announcing security is needed in hoisery 203."



Personally, I like going up to the drive thrus in fast food places and ordering .. I will have a wah wah wah wahh wahhwahh wahh and a wahhh wahh wahh wahh ... and an order of fries. Then when they say they can't understand a thing you are saying except fries .. you ask them what fries ... you never ordered any fries ... then you get really angry and ask them why they can't understand plain english and demand to see the manager and get your whole meal for free ....and when the police come they take you to a nice quiet place where you get to eat in out of the snow and the cold .....fun fun fun .....oh but I always go back and give the people at the drive thru a sears catalogue later .. just to show them there are no hard feelings and that I really want their wishes to come true ....

Pinstriping.

Sometimes you just have to wear pants and I love a great pantsuit. Ohren Beck does a superb job in her Vienna Calling. I especially like her textures - there is always something that you just have not seen anywhere else.



I like the silhouette of this suit and the subtle pinstriping of shades of grey ... you get a real sense of the feel and the weight of the suit and the same idea is repeated in the sweater. You can almost feel the ribbing.

I was grateful when someone finally explained pin-striping to me because I could not understand why anyone would hold a pin and put stripes on it....polka dots maybe but stripes .... wow .. talk about grain of rice writing only you can't/shouldn't eat pins ....well once you are an adult you can do anything you want but there is a subtle difference. When you do something really stupid as a kid some people look at you and go "aww .. he's just a kid" but when you are an adult some people look at you and go "awww ... what a freaking idiot!"

I mean compared to the type of stripes I am used to - you know the black and white ones that say property of Alcatraz and come with the really cool heavy chained cuffs for your wrists and ankles??? - these pinstripes are really well done ....



Also love the GLOW earrings and the hair from W&Y with its colour changing band. OMFG newer skins and a really good effort!!

Butterfly Dreams.

Who needs sleeping pills when you can just put on these beautiful pieces by Gems & Kisses.
You just put them on and close your eyes and I swear that beautiful diamond butterflies float all through your dreams .... These are so incredibly detailed and beautiful that you have to carry a mirror with yourself just so you can keep checking how beautiful they make you ....well at least that is what I do ....



Normally when I close my eyes I see these blobs of colour and then there is this really large woman with huge bosoms who is really angry cause I didn't clean my room and she comes for me and I run and hide under my bed .... then I wake up and realize ...

I am under the bed and my mom is standing right there ..

whew close call ....

Oh and if you sleep with the set on ... make sure it isn't in a waterbed cause I did that and well ... did you know that when you drown in your sleep and no-one is there to hear you drowning that you end up dead? True story....

In one lovely outfit we travel from Mary Poppins to a modern take on Mary Tyler Moore - all with the latest offering from Sascha's Designs - called Ula.
