22769's gift for this hunt is a Thor outfit in classic steampunk style but inspired by the comic books. You get the top, pants, prim hammer blade, chest symbols and belt.  You're searching for a bronze colored cog in the store. 

The skin is actually the other Twisted hunt gift from Heartsick that I blogged previously. A male version of The Seeker. It comes with or without body hair and an option to have eyebrows or not. 3 shades and hairbases are also included.

The outfit that 22769 has completed is called Taxidermie and is 150L at the event. Antlers with jewelry, cape with feathers and bones, reptile body suit, leather pants with bones, gloves and jeweled belt. The Reptile Knee boots are not part of the outfit but at the same event for 190L. The come with an alpha layer and are resizable. 

Flux so far has been a very interesting event and everyone is raving about it. Take some time out to go see what it has to offer, just remember to deprim and lower your graphics so you have no lag problems.

March will be full of green things for your avatar. Sometimes that gets a little old like all the red and pink in February.  I'd gotten a few gifts from several groups and a hunt gift that I decided to break it up a little with the group gift from The Secret Store. The skirt is prim and has a resize script.

The hunt gift from Heartsick comes in several tones and versions for male or female. Gotta find the gift in the store first. You're looking for the box from the movie Hellraiser. Examples are all over the store but you're looking for a specific one. Good luck.

I.D. eyes gives frequent gifts usually monthly and you get 3 shades of green and one blank for each set of prim eyes for each shade. The blonde hair of course is from Raw House. This store is fairly new but has some nice styles and shades of hair. 

Epic always has gifts that either match the month are all on one theme. Usually they have 2 clickable gifts and then one group Lucky Board for the 3rd. The digiwarmers can be either worn with or without the hooves and they come in black or brown. They and the backpack are resizable. Lucky cupcakes get a new meaning with its cute face. 

As with every post, I remind you to check groups to see if there is a fee to join or not. Some Groups are free and some are not. Some groups have their gifts out all month and some are spur of the moment gifts. The Secret Store gift just came out the 7th and may only be out for a little. Get it while it's still there.

The chair is by Clutter and has 10 colors to choose from. There are also many sits and some Men inspired ones too. At 10 prims, it should fit nicely in any small rental or home you have. 

The WOMENstuff hunt is inspired by the MENShunt group. It's all for girls and it ends March 2nd.

Loordes of London gifted this green jacket complete with prim sleeves, collar and jacket bottom. The colors paired easily with the wool jeans from Legal Insanity. It was like a match in heaven. After getting the purse as a WOMENstuff gift from Duh!, I noticed there was another hunt gift in the store which included the terracotta colored Skosh shoes. 

Group Gifts

I.D. just this morning gifted their VIP's a few sets of eyes to be included in their Stumblebum event and upcoming Fashion For Life. Now, these events are hardly free but the group gift of 4 pairs of eyes certainly were. I'm not sure if there is a group join fee but double check before you head over there to join up.

Mynerva skins has shown back up after taking a hiatus of their own. The group is 50L to join and there are currently 4 gifts out in their store. I'm wearing the Milena preview and its very soft and lightly make-uped. Its well worth the pick up.

With all the fashion in Second Life, one can't help but realize that February is going to be filled with shades of pink or red. So regardless if you love Valentine's Day or not, a little bit of pink or red isn't a bad color to wear.

22769 - In a new year!

I took a short break there from bloggin' the freebs. Christmas-time is a big freebie/cheapie time in SL and you have to wind down afterwards for sure! Hopefully you got all the gifts and whatnot you wanted in RL and SL. 

Now, down to the brass tacks! First post will be for 22769 which lately has been shelling out the new wear at a breakneck pace which means specials for you!

 On the left is the gift for the For Whatever Hunt. You're looking for a W in the store in which if you touch the hunt hints vendor in store...you'll get a hint. Well that was awkward lol! A brown double jumper complete with scarf, shirt bottom, and sleeve prims.

On the right is a 80L special for Men's Select called a leopard lace jumper. Prims include the lace scarf, sleeves and shirt bottom. Lace can be manly just ask our model! He almost dares you to say otherwise!

Last is the 1L gift from the FTLO Millenium Hunt - Glam Jumper and flared leather jeans. The fringes tickle the body a bit which makes our model a bit shy. -_^ Prims include the fringed scarf, sleeves, shirt bottom and pants cuffs.
